e Directorate of Fisheries Resources (DiFR) is among the four other directorates under the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF). MAAIF is a cabinet-level Ministry of the Government of Uganda headed by a Cabinet Minister, appointed by the President of the Republic of Uganda. Hundreds of people work in DiFR various departments and divisions.
